A certified organic face and body massage balm, specifically designed for children. Its soft and melting texture allows to nourish their delicate and sensitive skin while giving a long-lasting glide for an efficient massage. With apricot oil for a melting texture, coconut oil and shea butter that soften children's skin while leaving a natural moisturising and protective film on the skin. Enriched with chamomile, it has a soothing and calming effect on children.
Douces Papouilles has been formulated to be used during "Mon Soin Relax", a specific 30 minutes massage dedicated to children by beauticians. For practical reasons, we were asked to formulate a balm rather than an oil as children often move during the massage. When the balm is heated, it becomes almost liquid and offers a perfect glide for a powerful and pleasant massage.
How do I use it?
I ask an adult to take a dab of the balm, heat it between both hands and spread it all over my body in circular motions.
How does it work?
- Organic apricot oil, rich in oleic acids, has softening and emollient properties. It provides a powerful glide.
- Chamomile oily macerate has soothing and softening properties. It will promote calm and sleep.
- Carnauba wax has emollient, sheathing and film-forming properties.
- Candelilla wax has excellent film-forming power, stabilising and thickening properties.
- Organic coconut oil is rich in fatty acids, particularly lauric acid. It has moisturising, nourishing and softening properties.
- Organic shea butter, rich in unsaponifiables and vitamins, protects, softens and restructures damaged skin.
- Organic sunflower oil, rich in vitamin E and omega 6, has moisturising, nourishing and antioxidant properties.
- Organic sweet almond oil, rich in fatty acids, has a soothing and softening action on delicate and dry skin. It also has emollient properties to protect the skin from drying out.
- The bark wax from the fruit of the Japanese varnish is a vegetable wax used as a vegan thickener.
Result :
My skin is hydrated and nourished. It is enveloped in a sweet scent of apricot and chamomile. I feel calm and soothed.
