The Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry is a small tree that grows all over India. It is a tree of long life, deemed noble by Indian and Ayurvedic culture.
It produces light green edible berries. Although the whole tree has medicinal properties, it is the fruit that is most used because of its high vitamin C content and powerful antioxidant properties.
Amla oil is mainly used for hair care.
